Too Many Apps

That Don’t Talk

To Each Other

You pay for a CRM. A scheduling tool. Something for timesheets, something for invoices, something for inventory, and a spreadsheet to hold it all together. Each one does a small part of the job. None of them talk to each other. And every one of them sends a bill.

So your people become the glue. They copy a customer from one screen to the next, re-type a job number, export a report and paste it into a spreadsheet so somebody can see what’s going on. It’s slow, it’s expensive, and the numbers that matter most are buried three logins deep.

If only you could find one that understood your business. One that was built for the way you actually work.

What We Do

We design and build custom web applications around the way your business already runs. Not a template. Not a subscription you rent. Not a package you bend your process to fit. One application, built for your people, your workflow and your goals, that pulls all those scattered pieces into one place.

A few of the things our apps do every day:

It Starts With

Your Workflow

Before we write a line of code, we learn how your business really works. Who touches a job, in what order, where it stalls and what everyone wishes they could see. Then we look for every way we can to save a step, kill the double entry and get the right information moving faster.

  1. 01

    Listen

We sit down with the people who do the work: owners, managers, the office and the folks in the field. How does a job start, who touches it, and where does it get stuck?

  2. 02

    Map

We map every workflow from the first call to the final invoice, and find the double entry, the bottlenecks and the numbers nobody can see.

  3. 03

    Build

We design and build your application in stages, so your team is using real pieces early and helping shape what comes next.

  4. 04

    Grow

We host it, maintain it and keep improving it as your business changes. Your app grows right along with you.

The Right Information to the

Right People

Most businesses are already sitting on the answers they need. They’re just scattered across five systems and a whiteboard.

When everything lives in one application, we can bubble the important things up to the people who need them, the moment they need them. Owners see the big picture. Managers see what’s stuck. People in the field see today’s work and nothing they don’t need.

Key performance indicators update themselves, alerts go out on their own, and nobody waits a week for someone to pull a report.

Your Data

In your hands, not theirs.

Off-the-shelf software rents you a seat in somebody else’s system. Your customer history, your jobs and your numbers live on their servers, under their pricing, on their roadmap. When the price goes up or the product heads in a new direction, you’re along for the ride.

A custom application is yours. Your data sits in your own database, you decide who sees what, and it connects to the tools you want to keep. No per-seat fees that grow every time you hire. No feature request that waits in somebody’s queue forever.

Real Businesses.

Real Results.

Here’s what changed

Two of the applications we’ve built, for two very different businesses. Same idea behind both: learn how the work really gets done, then build the tool that fits it.

Matthews Buses

From Whiteboard & Magnets

To One App

Seatech Marine Systems has handled mobile installation and repair for boats since 1989. As the business took off, they tried hundreds of scheduling packages. Each one did a piece of the job. None of them ran the whole thing: sales, service tickets, parts, technician availability and billing.

“When we met Rampant Imaginations, we were literally handling all our schedules and sales with a whiteboard and magnets.”
Bruce Norton, General Manager

We learned every corner of their business and built one application for the whole service lifecycle:

Matthews Buses

TradePro

Matthews Buses sells Thomas Built school buses across New York State, and the old buses districts trade in are often what make the deal work. Trade-in details used to live on printed sheets, a spreadsheet on one laptop and notes folded into a jacket pocket.

TradePro gives every role its own view of the same live information. Salespeople inspect a bus on their phone and the app reads the VIN from a photo. The used bus manager sets allowances with every detail in one place. Management watches a live dashboard. And with the flip of a switch, a bus is listed on Matthews’ used bus website before it ever reaches the lot.

TradePro used bus report, bus inspection page and phone form

Outgrown your spreadsheets?

Tell us how your business runs today, where it gets stuck and what you wish you could see at a glance. We’ll listen, ask a lot of questions and show you what’s possible. No pressure and no jargon.
